Wood Ash Crock

This crock was crafted from rich brown stoneware clay. Its glazed in salt white glaze for the interior and lip and then that was double dipped wood ash glaze with cobalt blue added. Wood ash glazes are meant to be thicker and sometimes even a little "crusty". Its unpredictable making each piece truly a one of a kind piece that can't be duplicated. There is a bronze glaze in the hand carved stripes along the exterior. It is watertight and can be used as a vase, planter or utensil holder. 

Approximate measurements: 6 inches tall x 5 inches wide.
